Disable App Notifications Only During Work Hours on Samsung Galaxy
If constant alerts distract you during work, your Samsung Galaxy lets you disable app notifications only during work hours — without missing anything afterward. You can automate this using Bixby Routines or Focus Mode for smarter control.
Step 1: Open Bixby Routines
Go to Settings > Advanced Features > Bixby Routines. Tap + Add Routine to create a new automation that manages notifications based on your work schedule.
Step 2: Set Work Hour Conditions
Under the If section, choose Time Period and set your daily work hours — for example, 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. You can also add location triggers like your office address for extra precision.
Step 3: Add the “Do Not Disturb” Action
In the Then section, select Do Not Disturb. You can choose to block all alerts or allow specific apps (like email or calendar) to break through while muting everything else.
Step 4: Enable Focus Mode for Work Apps
Alternatively, use Settings > Digital Wellbeing > Focus Mode. Select Work Time and choose which apps to pause automatically. This helps reduce interruptions from social media or messaging apps during work.
Step 5: Review and Activate
Save your routine and tap Start Automatically. From now on, your Samsung Galaxy will silence non-essential notifications only during your defined work hours — and resume them afterward.

OnePlus Tip
You can create multiple Bixby Routines — one for work and one for sleep — so notifications automatically adapt to your daily schedule without manual toggling.
