Hide Samsung Internet History Automatically on Galaxy Devices
If you want to keep your browsing private on your Samsung Galaxy, you can automatically hide or delete your Samsung Internet history. This guide shows how to enable automatic privacy features safely in North America.
Step 1: Open Samsung Internet
Launch the Samsung Internet app on your Galaxy device. Tap the Menu (three lines) at the bottom right and select Settings.
Step 2: Enable Secret Mode
Tap Privacy and Security > Secret Mode. Set a PIN, Password, or Fingerprint to protect access. Secret Mode keeps your browsing separate from your normal history.
Step 3: Auto-Clear Browsing Data
Under Settings > Privacy and Security > Personal Data > Auto Clear, enable automatic deletion of history, cache, and cookies after a defined period — daily, weekly, or on exit.
Step 4: Manage Site Permissions
Limit tracking and permissions by visiting Settings > Privacy and Security > Sites and Downloads. Block location requests and pop-ups for added privacy.
Step 5: Sync with Samsung Cloud or Accounts
If you use Samsung Cloud or a Samsung Account, make sure auto-sync doesn’t back up Secret Mode history. Adjust sync settings in Settings > Accounts and Backup.
