How to Enable Verizon Spam Blocking (*662) on Android

Spam calls are a daily annoyance, but Verizon lets you stop them instantly using a simple dial code — *662 — without downloading anything.

1. Turn On Spam Blocking via Code

Open your Phone app → dial *662 → tap Call.
You’ll hear a confirmation message that Verizon Call Filter is now activated on your line.

2. Use the Verizon Call Filter App (Optional)

For advanced features — like blocking high-risk numbers, viewing spam history, or customizing alerts — install Verizon Call Filter from Google Play.

3. Verify It’s Active

Dial *#662 anytime to check if spam blocking is still enabled.
You can turn it off with *632 if needed.

OnePlus Tip: Keep spam protection on at all times, especially if you receive frequent robocalls or telemarketing calls.
