Set Up Family Sharing on Samsung Galaxy in North America
With Samsung Family Sharing, you can easily share apps, subscriptions, and digital content across your family’s Galaxy devices. This feature helps North American users manage purchases, storage, and parental controls from one Samsung Account group.
Step 1: Open Samsung Account Settings
Go to Settings > Samsung Account > Family. If you’re not signed in, log in using your primary Samsung Account credentials first.
Step 2: Create or Join a Family Group
Tap Create Family Group or Join Family. The main account (family manager) can invite up to five members using their Samsung Account email addresses.
Step 3: Manage Shared Purchases
Once members accept, you can share Galaxy Store purchases, Samsung TV Plus content, and Samsung Cloud storage with the group. Each user maintains private data and app settings.
Step 4: Set Up Parental Controls
For children’s devices, open Settings > Digital Wellbeing & Parental Controls. From there, you can link a child’s device, monitor screen time, and restrict app usage.
Step 5: Manage Cloud and Backup Access
In Settings > Samsung Cloud, choose which data (photos, contacts, calendars) can be shared across family members. Shared storage helps save space while keeping everyone synced.
Step 6: Remove or Edit Family Members
To adjust your group, go back to Settings > Samsung Account > Family. You can remove members, change roles, or invite new users anytime.

OnePlus Tip
If you’re using multiple Galaxy devices, link them all under one family group. This allows features like SmartThings device sharing and Find My Mobile tracking for every family member — all from one dashboard.
