Customize Samsung Quick Settings for American Users
Want faster access to your most-used features? You can easily customize Samsung Quick Settings for American users to streamline device controls like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile data, and screen brightness. With just a few taps, you can rearrange tiles, add shortcuts, and simplify your Galaxy experience on One UI 6 or later.
Step 1: Open Quick Settings Panel
Swipe down from the top of your screen twice to open the full Quick Settings panel. You’ll see a grid of feature tiles like Wi-Fi, Sound, and Flashlight, along with your brightness slider and device status icons.
Step 2: Enter Edit Mode
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, then choose Edit buttons. This allows you to rearrange, remove, or add new shortcuts to match your daily usage pattern.
Step 3: Add or Remove Tiles
From the available button list, drag icons such as Dark mode, Mobile Hotspot, Screen Recorder, or Nearby Share into the active panel. You can also remove unused shortcuts by dragging them down to the inactive section.
Step 4: Reorder Your Favorite Controls
Press and hold any tile to move it higher in the list. Place your most-used options—like Wi-Fi, Do Not Disturb, or Power saving—in the top row for one-swipe access.
Step 5: Adjust Brightness and Eye Comfort
In the Quick Settings panel, use the brightness slider or tap the arrow icon beside it for more display controls. You can toggle Eye comfort shield or switch to Adaptive brightness for better battery performance. Learn more about screen features at Screen & Display Tools.
Step 6: Customize Device Control Buttons
Scroll down to the Device control and Media output sections to manage smart home devices or Bluetooth speakers. You can hide these options if you prefer a cleaner layout by selecting Quick panel layout in settings.
Step 7: Use Modes and Routines for Dynamic Panels
Samsung’s Modes and Routines lets you switch Quick Settings automatically based on time, location, or activity. Go to Settings > Modes and Routines and set up triggers to enable Power Saving or Do Not Disturb at specific times. For automation tips, check Google Cloud Integration & Automation.
Step 8: Reset Quick Settings Layout
If your panel becomes cluttered, tap the three-dot menu again and choose Reset to default. This restores Samsung’s original layout while keeping your custom themes and wallpaper intact.
